Error Message

V-79-57344-38146 - Error: 0xe0009502 - Backup Exec could not place the Enterprise Vault (EV) vault stores or index locations in backup mode.

When the Power Shell cmdlet from Backup Exec is issued, it was trying to execute a PowerShell script Profile.ps1 which in turn was waiting for a manual intervention and hence was timing out.

Rename the Profile.ps1 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0 to Profile.ps1.old from EV server and run backup.
