Trash Box or Recycle Bin is enabled on those shares or volumes which accumulates all the Expired data or Expured backup Sets being deleted or expired by DLM (Data Lifecycle Management).
Backup Exec media files BKF or IMG GRT files folders get deleted from those shares but moved to Trash Box or Recycle Bin still occupying space on the NAS storage volume.
This may be due to the Trash Box/Recycle Bin enabled for the NAS share or volume from the NAS console.
When the expired backup sets are deleted by Backup Exec DLM process, the *.BKF files from NAS share or volume are moved to the recycle bin and stays there.
Note: This issue could also occur if the NAS share or volume has "Snapshots" enabled and the Snapshots are consuming NAS share or volume space.
As the Recycle bin is also in the same share or volume, it's size is also included when the used space is displayed in the Backup Exec console.

In the above images displayed:
# The original size of the backup sets or the *.BKF files is 985 GB
# The size of the recycle bin in the share folder is 6.25 TB
# The used storage space displayed for the storage on Backup Exec console is displayed as 7.22 TB which include both the data

Note: Emptying the recycle bin will take time depending upon the size. Wait for few minutes after performing Step 2
