How to run specific Reports in Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO).

The steps below are in regards to the following reports:

  • Percentage Backup: This report shows the percentage of backups completed.
  • File Type Usage: This report shows the storage consumption for each file type that is backed up.
  • Backup Job History: This report shows the status of backup jobs for a user in a specified duration.
  • User Status by Profile: This report shows the status (active or inactive) of users assigned to a specific profile.

These reports are available in the DLO console.

Please Note: To run these reports, the following command -ReportInfoGen must be run first to update the content used in creating the report. This command may take a long time to complete if the DLO environment contains a large amount of information. The ReportInfoGen Command collects the latest information from the history logs and stores the data in DLO database in order to populate the recent information in the report.

Example of the command:

DLOCommandU.exe -ReportInfoGen –DBServer -DBInstance

For additional information, refer to the section ‘-ReportInfoGen command’ in the Desktop and Laptop Option Administrator's Guide.
