Workaround: Retry the failed Duplicate job.

Issue/Introduction
A scheduled duplicate job to tape fails with "Error: 0xe00084f9 - A communications failure has occurred between the Backup Exec job engine and the Agent for Windows". If the failed duplicate is retried, the duplicate is successful.
