How to use the backup lan with VMware Agent

Add the combinations of the IP addresses for the backup lan and the vCenter or ESX servers into the hosts file on Backup Exec server. Alternatively you can use below steps for vcenter and standalone esx server.
For vCenter server
For vCenter server
Add the ESX servers to vCenter using the IP address of the backup lan.
Add the vCenter to Backup Exec using the IP address of the backup lan.
For standalone ESX server
Add the vCenter to Backup Exec using the IP address of the backup lan.
Add the ESX server to Backup Exec using the IP address of the backup lan.
Issue/Introduction
The job property of the backup lan is used for Remote Agent which is installed into the source server. The property is not effective for VMware agent because the remote agent is not installed into vCenter or ESX server for VMware Agent. VMware Agent uses a network resolved by hosts file or DNS.
