Before you back up data to cloud storage using the Backup Exec Cloud Connector, determine if you want to run the verify operation after backup jobs. By default, Backup Exec automatically verifies backed up data at the end of a backup job. You can change the default verify options for cloud operations, such as Duplicate to Cloud, or for individual backup jobs to cloud storage. 

Your decision on whether to run the verify operation may be determined by the price that cloud storage service providers charge when data is transferred out of their cloud. Review the pricing information from the cloud storage service providers:

Some cloud storage service providers may charge for operations where data is transferred out of their cloud. If you use the Backup Exec Cloud Connector, you may incur these charges from the cloud storage service providers when backup verify operations are performed.
