Error Message
Final error: 0xe0000340 - The Database script returned an error. Refer to the Database script output section in job logs for more details.
The following errors are reported in the RMAN output section of the job log
ORA-19554: error allocating device, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:
ORA-27211: Failed to load Media Management Library
- or -
RMAN-03002: failure of allocate command at
RMAN-06403: could not obtain a fully authorized session
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory
Cause
This issue occurs if the beoratab file is not properly configured.
Solution
1. Copy /etc/oratab to /etc/VRTSralus/beoratab
2. Replace the dbname entries in /etc/VRTSralus/beoratab with the name of the Oracle SID which is unique on each node
