Error Message
Cause
- The trust relationship between the two servers could not be established. To manually establish the trusted relationship, check the related articles section
- The Managed media server is not configured with the same Domain account with local Administrator rights
NOTE: In this screenshot, the logon account is configured with a local account that does not match the account used on the CAS
Resolution
- Configure the Logon account on the Managed media server with the same Administrator account as used on the CAS, which should a Local Administrator on both servers
- Configure the BESA account with the same Administrator account
- Restart the Backup exec services on both the CASO and the MMS server
- Then the CASO should connect to the MMS automatically as given in the screenshot
Issue/Introduction
Unable to connect to the Managed media server from the central administration server:
Getting alert, "The central administration server received a request from a managed media server to join the CASO environment. However, the managed media server has an invalid security certificate".
