V-79-57344-38748 - Backup Exec was unable to prepare Microsoft Exchange resources for Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) operations. Therefore you will be unable to perform GRT-enabled restores of Microsoft Exchange data for '\\\Microsoft Information Store\Mailbox Database 0382084429' from the backup.

Therefore you will be unable to perform GRT-enabled restores of Microsoft Exchange data for '\\\Microsoft Information Store\Public Folder Database 1738776027' from the backup.

In the Servername_beremote.log, you may see errors such as:

- VDDK-Log: DISKLIB-SPARSE: "I:\BEData\IMG000123\EXServer_1.vmdk" : failed to grow disk: The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation (29900000002).
- VDDK-Log: DISKLIB-LIB   : RWv failed ioId: #4068733 (43581449) (9) .
 

There are a number of reasons that this error can occur. This article outlines the specific issue of having compression enabled on disks that are used for Backups. Do not use Microsoft Windows compression or encryption on the volumes hosting the backup-to-disk folder.

Compressed disks are not supported for backup targets.
