Error Message

Following error occurs:-

A Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error also may occur:-

Program: C:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas DLO\DLOConsoleu.exe
abnormal program termination

Event ID 1000 may be logged under Event Viewer - Application Logs.

Description: Faulting application DLOConsoleu.exe, version 7.0.700.4901, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.4937, fault address 0x0004e731

SQL connection to the DLO database is not made due to missing or incorrect DBInstance (SQL Instance name) in registry key value.

On the DLO Administration server, ensure the following registry key/values are set properly.

Registry modifications should only be carried-out by persons experienced in the use of the registry editor application. It is recommended that a complete backup of the registry and workstation be made prior to making any registry changes

The DBInstance String value should be having correct Instance name (SQL Instance name). DBInstance string is located under following registry path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veritas\Veritas DLO\DB

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\veritas\veritas DLO\AdminService

Here, DBInstance string value under DB and AdminService should have correct instance name.
