Cause

This issue occurs if a wrong or invalid recovery point has been selected to restore from.

Resolution

Ensure the following and then run the restore job again:

  • Check if the selected recovery point exists in the destination location.  If it does not, manually copy the recovery point to the destination location.
  • If the recovery point is stored on a network, ensure that the specified network path is accessible.
  • Ensure that the correct path and recovery point (v2i) file name have been specified.
