Error Message
Could not open 'filename' because it is either not a supported file type or beause the file has been damaged.
Example opening a PDF or WORD document.
Resolution
Restore data back to the original location (redirected restores of SIS data are not supported with Backup Exec).
If the source SIS volume is no longer available, create a new SIS volume with the same drive letter in order to perform a standard restore (non-redirected).

Issue/Introduction
Redirected restores of SIS (Single Instance Storage) enabled files renders the files as corrupt. The error message below is an example of the message that is seen when attempting to open a .pdf file following a redirected restore.
Restores back to the original location are not affected by this issue.
