V-225-286 : This computer has DHCP enabled. Dynamically changing IP addresses may cause issues with Backup Exec.
Resolution
Assign a static IP address to all servers in the Backup Exec environment and verify that all DNS records are correct.
Issue/Introduction
Use of DHCP for Backup Exec could result in being unable to communicate with remote servers. The communication failure may lead to being unable to complete backup operations.
