Error Message
Failed to connect to Backup Exec server. Make sure DHCP or a Static IP address is set correctly.
Resolution
1. Ensure that the Backup Exec Server has all updates applied.
2. Ensure there are no firewalls blocking the connection.
3. Try using the Netbios Name or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) as a workaround.
4. Please contact Technical Support if the NetBios/FQDN worked, but the IP Address still fails so Veritas can resolve the issue.

Issue/Introduction
While booting a server with the Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR) disk to perform a recovery of the server, the wizard prompts for the location of the Backup Exec (BE) server. If the location is populated with the IP address of the BE server, the connection will fail.
