This error may occur if the account used for the backup does not have enough permission to transport a snapshot.
This error may also occur if the vStorage APIs are not installed on the vCenter / ESX server.
1. Verify that the account used for backup has the proper permissions in vCenter / ESX and on the Backup Exec server.
2. Verify that the vStorage APIs are installed on the vCenter / ESX server. Use the following document to verify if the vStorage APIs are included with the existing ESX(I) / vSphere license: 100025648
If not, please contact VMWare to purchase the appropriate license.
