Cause
This is a known issue with the VMware VDDK, and hence VMware vCenter and Backup Exec cannot be installed on the same computer.
Resolution
Install Backup Exec and the VMware vCenter on different computers.
The configuration is not supported at this time. However, the Agent for Windows can be installed on the computer on which the VMware vCenter is installed.
If you have already installed Backup Exec and VMware vCenter on the same computer, uninstall vCenter and install it on a different computer and then restart the Backup Exec services.
