"The VSS_E_PROVIDER_VETO the operation" or "The VSS Provider vetoed the operation."
Cause
If installed, the tool HP Device Access Manager may be preventing the volume(s) from completing the VSS Writer procedure.
Resolution
Please contact HP technical support to troubleshoot the issue. The program can be removed using the Uninstall Program feature in Windows. However, Veritas recommends contacting HP technical support first.
If you do not have HP Device Access Manager installed on your system, its possible another similar application may be having the same effect and causing this VSS error.
