Cause
In the Restore Job Wizard "What vCenter or ESX server do you want to restore the data to" , VM Network is selected in the Network section.
Resolution
The Network section in the Restore Job Wizard Page "What vCenter or ESX server do you want to restore the data to" has VM Network selected.
VM Network - This option, when selected, will restore 1 NIC to the Virtual Machine. If the destination network is on a different network or subnet and requires a different IP, the restored NIC will be configured with the source network information and must be reconfigured to match the desired destination network, subnet and IP. This is by design in Backup Exec.
None- This option, when selected, will not restore any NICs to the Virtual Machine.
