Error Message
Failed to load configuration settings .
Cause
This issue can occur for various reasons, including if the User does not have permission to write to the Network User Data Folder (NUDF) in the Storage Location or if they are unable to reach the DLO DB to receive\validate settings.
Resolution
Grant the User, the required "Write" permissions to the NUDF and ensure the User has been added in the DLO Administration Console of the DLO Server.

Run the DLO Diagnostics Utility on the client machine and when completed, if any items report 'red cross' errors against them, use the Click Here hyperlink in that item's row, to open the Desktop Agent Help file. That will take you to a page in the document, providing possible solutions to the error.
Once corrected, attempt to open the DLO Agent again.
