Error Message

"Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it ?" as shown in below figure for the following files :

TASKPANE_STATUS
TASKPANE_SYNC
TASKPANE_BACKUP
TASKPANE_RESTORE
TASKPANE_HISTORY


 

Cause

This happens if there is a issue with MSXML parser on the client machine.

  

 

Resolution

  1. Close the DLO agent console
  2. Download and install the latest version of MSXML from List of Microsoft XML parser (MSXML) versions
  3. At command prompt: naviagte to C:\Windows\System32 and run the following command
    regsvr32 msxml.dll
    regsvr32 msxml1.dll (Note: Registration of msxml1.dll may fail, ignore it)
    regsvr32 msxml2.dll
    regsvr32 msxml3.dll
    regsvr32 msxml4.dll
  4. Reboot the machine
