Resolution
DIAGNOSTIC STEPS:
Solution 1:
- Check the setup.ini file in the C:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas DLO\DLOAgent folder. It should have the DEFAULTMEDIASERVER name specified.
- Check if the installation was done by double-clicking the MSI file within the DLO Agent folder. The MSI should not be used for the DLO agent install. Install DLO agent using the Setup.exe file.
- The log-on script should be calling the Setup.exe so that the installation parameters are picked up from Setup.ini
- Uninstall DLO agent and do a clean install using the Setup.exe
Solution 2:
Warning: Incorrect use of the Windows registry editor may prevent the operating system from functioning properly. Great care should be taken when making changes to a Windows registry. Registry modifications should only be carried-out by persons experienced in the use of the registry editor application. It is recommended that a complete backup of the registry and workstation be made prior to making any registry changes.
Edit the register key below and make sure it shows the correct DLO Admin Server name..
