These errors may occur when backing up to a Local NTFS Volume/Drive in following scenarios
-- If the Backup Destination disk is full
-- If the old recovery points and older versions of files from File and Folder Backups that exceed the Recovery Point Storage threshold are not deleted
-- If Manage Backup Destination Settings has the radio button "Warn me when backup exceeds threshold" selected.
System Recovery (SR) can monitor the backup storage space and notify when it is getting full. It can also automatically delete old recovery points and older versions of files from file and folder backups that exceed the threshold. If threshold is not specified, Backup Exec System Recovery notifies user when the disk reaches 90 percent of its total capacity.
Solution:
1) If the radio button " Warn me when backup exceeds threshold" is selected instead of Automatically optimize storage without prompting, then on clicking Manage Backup Destination it pops up Clean Up Recovery points window with a warning message the recovery point storage threshold for drive has been exceeded. (Figure 1)

Hence either choose old recovery points and click on Delete or make an Offsite copy before deleting old recovery points.
2) Launch System Recovery. On the Tools page, click Manage Backup Destination and click on the Settings button and tick "Automatically Optimize Storage" (refer Fig2 and Fig3)

Note: With this option selected, System Recovery automatically deletes the old recovery points and limits file versions to remain within the threshold that is set.
