"0xe000fe30 - A communications failure has occurred. "
The debug may show the following error - "Socket error mvrRet = 10053 or 10054"
Resolution
1. Make sure the network connection is stable between the Backup Exec Server and the remote server whose backup fails because of the above error.
2. Ensure the Backup Exec application and storage path are added to Antivirus exclusions.
3. Ensure appropriate Firewall ports are opened for inbound and outbound traffic. Backup Exec global settings -> Network and Security -> port range is selected as per the ports opened in firewall.
