Cause


During the execution of the batch file Backup Exec uses Local System Account rights. If the SYSTEM log on account cannot execute the batch file then the job will not execute the pre or post commands.

Resolution

 
  1. Ensure the batch file can be executed with the SYSTEM LOG ON account.
  2. Install the latest Live Updates for Backup Exec. 
  3. Ensure the batch file path mentioned in the backup job  properties is correct.
