Description
Error Message
"Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start."
"Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure"
"The Veritas DLO Administration Service service on local computer started and then stopped."
Cause
If the DLO databases do not exist, or are not accessible to DLO, the Administration Service may not start and may give the errors above.
Resolution
Make sure that the DLO Database files exist in the Data Folder.
1. Browse to \Program Files\Veritas\Veritas DLO\Data\
2. Check if the following files exist:
DLO.mdf
DLO_log.ldf
If they do not exist you may need to try a uninstall the DLO option and reinstall it , reload from backup, or import the DLO Databases from a different location.
