0xe0008212 - Library error - Invalid element address
The above error is generated while performing any tape operation in Backup Exec for Windows Servers.

Cause
This error indicates incorrect SCSI configuration or faulty Hardware.
Resolution
The issue can be usually resolved by performing the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that Tape Drive is not set to SCSI ID "0" or "1". These SCSI Id's are usually reserved for bootable devices.
2. Update the SCSI controller's driver and firmware.
3. Update the tape drive firmware.
