Overview: The Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) backup completes, but the Microsoft Event Viewer Application log shows numerous Error 10 messages with DLO as the source of the error. This error only occurs on the DLO console server and not the client.

Troubleshooting:
Review the Microsoft Event Viewer Application log for any Event ID 10 messages.

In the Microsoft Event Viewer Application log, the following message is displayed for every file in the Network User Data Folder (NUDF):

Error merging delta files. Compound Error copying \\\DLO Data Store\\.dlo\\C_\Users\\My Documents\[002375$0rZ5Av000000Ug0]APWorkflow LocalHost.suo: MultiCopier::_CreateDests \\\DLO Data Store\\.dlo\\Users\\My Documents\~[002375$434zWgI00000Mg0]APWorkflow LocalHost.suo.vts e0140005

Resolution:
The e0140005 error message is an access denied error.  A review of the account which starts the DLOMaintenanceSvc service determined it did not have write access to the NUDF location.  
To check the account starting the DLOMaintenanceSvc service, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services and double-click on the DLOMaintenanceSvc service.  On the Log On tab, review the "Log on as" section, and change the account as necessary  

After changing the account starting the DLOMaintenanceSvc service to one with write access, the backups did not generate the Error 10 messages.
