Cause

The time setting of the ESXi host is incorrect.

Resolution

 To verify time settings in vsphere:

Go to Configuration > Time Configuration > Properties.

Issue/Introduction

When backing up though vcenter the snapshot of the guest os fails with 0 byte count and is unable to snap vm. Backup will fail with error saying unable to quiesce an application even when GRT is turned off.
Note: Manual snapshots using the snapshot manager in vcenter or vsphere will complete however backup exec VMware agent backups will fail.
