Resolution

WORKAROUND:

Use traditional file-by-file cataloging methods instead of storage-based catalogs with the following steps:

1. Click the Backup Exec button > 'Configuration and Settings > Backup Exec Settings on the Backup Exec Administration Console
2. In the left pane, click 'Catalog'
3. Uncheck 'Use storage-based catalogs' option
4. Execute the catalog job to the imported legacy backup-to-disk folder
