Error Message

The following is seen when attempting to start the restored virtual machine:

-> EFI Virtual disk (0.0)... unsuccessful.
-> EFI Floppy... unsuccesful.
-> EFI VMware Virtual IDE CDROM Drive (IDE 1:0)... unsuccesful.
-> EFI Network....

Resolution

Workaround: After the restore, follow the workaround steps documented here https://www.veritas.com/docs/000075309
