 This issue occurs on servers that have the Windows Security Update KB2918614 installed.

 Workaround 1:  Known issue with Microsoft Security Update 2918614

After you install this security update and try to install any MSI package that uses a mandatory or temporary user profile, the MSI package installation fails, and you receive an error message that resembles the following:
 
The profile for the user is a temporary profile
 
 
To resolve this issue, install Microsoft update 3000988 (Reboot Required)
 
3000988 "The profile for the user is a temporary profile" error when you install a MSI package in Windows  
 
Attempt the repush of the Backup Exec Remote Agent
 
 
 
 
 

 Workaround 2:  Known issue #2 with Microsoft Security Update   2918614

This issue occurs on servers that have the Windows Security Update 2918614 installed. 
Install Microsoft update 3000988 or Uninstall Microsoft Hotfix 2918614.   Contact Microsoft for further troubleshooting if the update is required in your environment

Workaround 3:  Perform a local installation of the Backup Exec Remote Agent by copying the RAWS and  VCRedist  folder to C:\ on the remote server.
