V-79-57344-38469 - 0xe0009645 - Backup Exec failed to register the virtual machine. See the job log and the Windows Event Viewer for more details. The virtual machine will not be available in the Hyper-V or Virtual Server Administration Console. 

 

Use the Import Virtual Machine option in the Hyper-V Manager to manually register the virtual machine.

During a restore job or a redirected restore job of a Hyper-V virtual machine, Backup Exec might not register the virtual machine with the Hyper-V Manager. One of the known reasons for this issue is incompatibility between the source hardware processor and the target hardware processor. For example, if a virtual machine is hosted on brand A and you try to redirect the restore to hardware brand B, then the restore job may fail. Check the Windows Event Viewer to see the reason why the virtual machine could not be registered.
