Description
Error Message
V-79-57344-42047 - Failed to create the virtual disks required for the warm conversion.
Resolution
Edit the job to change the memory and CPU values on the Conversion Settings dialog box so that the values for the destination virtual machine do not exceed the values that the source host can support.
Issue/Introduction
This issue occurs with VMware ESXi and with all supported versions of Hyper-V. The conversion to a virtual machine cannot be completed if the CPU, virtual machine hardware version, or memory values for the destination virtual machine are larger than what the source host can support. For example, if you set a CPU value of 12 for the destination virtual machine, but the source host supports only 4 CPUs, then the conversion will fail.
