A quiesced snapshot could not be created for the virtual machine (DC)Data Center Name(DC)\vm\VM name.
V-79-8192-38335 - A Failure occured while locking the virtual machine in place for backup/restore operations.
Resolution
This issue occurs due to a lack of permissions at the vCenter level. For more information regarding the permissions needed to protect a VMware Virtual environment, refer to the "Related Articles" section at the bottom of this document. (100062273)
Issue/Introduction
When backing up a VMware virtual machine, the following errors are received during the backup.
