Cause

 

Backup Exec Remote Agent Debug on the Backup Exec Media Server reports:

Resolution

Increase the amount of available disk space for the Dedupe Folder and run the jobs at different times.

 


Issue/Introduction

When running Hyper-v agent backups to a Dedupe folder the jobs may randomly complete with and exception Failed to mount one or more virtual disk images. The issue may occur randomly on different virtual machines. Note: Application GRT restore selections may not be available after this exception occurs.
