 Job Log shows:
Insufficient memory available.

V-79-57344-33858 - A memory allocation request failed. The computer may be running low on virtual memory.

V-79-57344-65072 - An error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec Remote Agent on the Backup Exec server. Ensure that the job options are correct, and then submit the job again. The backup set was not created.

Beremote Log Shows:

[fsys\shared]        - ValidatePDILocation : Pdvfs PDI Path  not available.
[fsys\shared]        - ValidatePDILocation : PDVFSReaderSync failed.
[ndmp\ndmpsrvr]      - CreateBSD: Failed to allocate the pdi path for device: '\\DAGTEST\Microsoft Information Store\ArchiveDB' os id: 84 reason: 0x00000003

 

Event Log shows :

PDVFS  50001  A warning from the PDVFS driver: PdvfsStat: possible Unix mode corruption (040755)

Cause

This may occur if the PDVFS share is not accessible.

Or

If the PureDisk Filesystem Service is running on Backup Service Account.

Resolution

  1. Make sure the PDVFS Share is accessible.
  2. Make sure that the PureDisk Filesystem Service is running under Local System account.
