- Using System Recovery, create a custom recovery disk (https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000074330) and add in the additional drivers that you want to use with LOR.
- Mount the .ISO file that was created in step 1.
- Copy the following files/folders to \Program Files\Altiris\Symantec System Recovery Management Solution\Web\SoftwareDelivery\LOR\11.0\INSTALLx64 (for the 32bit version of LOR, replace INSTALLx64 with INSTALL):
Folders: boot, Docs, Driver Validation, EFI, Manager, sources, Support.
Files: bootmgr, SymDriverInfo.xml, SymInfo.xml.
- Configure/enable the LOR policy in SSR-MS (see Page 52 of the admin guide: https://www.veritas.com/docs/000003617).
Note: The same process would need to be run for 32 and 64bit versions of LOR. In step 1 above, ensure that you are using the relevant version of the recovery disk (32 or 64bit) so that it matches the version (32 or 64bit) of LOR.
Note: Be aware that if you download LOR using Installation Manager, this will overwrite the custom version of LOR that was built using the above steps.
