Communication with the DLO services are down. Check to see if the DLO services are running on

This issue can arise due to insufficient permission on the account being used to install DLO. It is also seen if the Client for Microsoft Networks is not installed properly which causes default Windows shares to be inaccessible.

The above error is also seen if the setup.ini file is not correctly configured.

Try the following to help resolve the issue:

1. Make sure the account being used is the Domain Admin account and also is a part of Local Administrators Group
2. Make sure the setup.ini file under X:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas DLO\DLO Agents folder has all the parameters set properly. (see Tech Article 000103724 for details).
3. Check the default admin shares and make sure the logged in user is able to access them and also is able to enable shares
4. Try reinstalling Client for Microsoft Networks
