Error Message

V-79-57344-65084 - Before you can back up this resource, you must purchase and install a license key for the appropriate Backup Exec agent.
 

The agent used for the selection is either not installed or the trial period has expired.

Verify the agents are installed and if not, install them by following the steps below.

1. Click on the Backup Exec Icon in the top left of the Backup Exec Console

2. Click on Installation and Licensing

3. Click on Install Options and Licenses on this Backup Exec Server

Verify the Serial Number for the required agent is listed. If not, click Import License File and add the agent license file you wish to import.  Once imported, click Next

Note: in the example below, the Library Expansion Feature is used, however other agents may be added as well.

Verify that the license you are adding shows in the Review Licenses window and click Next

In the Configure Features window, verify that all of the features for the agent licenses added have a check beside them and click Next

If language other than English then check the language and click Next

Verify the features to be installed on the Installation Review window and click Install

Watch the progress and once complete, click Finish
