Unable to update the backup items. The method backup items was called with invalid arguments.
Cause
Storage pool is empty. Need to define the storage pool.
Resolution
To define the storage pool, just follow these simple steps:
- Select the job, Click Test run.
- A pop-up will flash, "Unable to update the backup items. The method backup items was called with invalid arguments"
- Click OK, and another pop-up will appear "The storage pool you have selected is empty. You must add an accessible device to the storage pool before this job can run".
- Click OK. This adds the device to the job and the test run will be successful.
Issue/Introduction
Test run for any backup fails with the below error:
Unable to update the backup items. The method backup items was called with invalid arguments.
