Error Message

 V-79-57344-65297 - The Linux or Unix resource is not responding. Backup set canceled.
Final error: 0xe000ff11 - A communications failure has occurred with a Linux or Unix resource.

Cause

  • File locking for backup jobs is enabled.

Resolution

 

  • Disable file locking for backup jobs when using Backup Exec 2010 Remote Agent for Linux or UNIX Servers. This option can be found in job settings under Linux Agents option.
