The Backup Exec Server Service did not start. An internal error (-536837662) occurred in object 12.
This is caused by the DataPartitionGUID in the Backup Exec Database (BEDB) being a different value.
To resolve this you will need to compare the DataPartitionGUID from the Backup Exec Database (BEDB) to the DataPartitionGUID value in the registry.
To check the DataPartitionGUID in the Backup Exec Database (BEDB) you will need to open the Backup Exec Database (BEDB) in SQL Studio Management Studio.
Warning: Incorrect use of the Windows registry editor may prevent the operating system from functioning properly. Great care should be taken when making changes to a Windows registry. Registry modifications should only be carried-out by persons experienced in the use of the registry editor application. It is recommended that a complete backup of the registry and workstation be made prior to making any registry changes.
Check HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veritas\Backup Exec for Windows\Backup Exec\Server\DataPartitionGUID and if the value is different then copy the DataParitionGUID from the Backup Exec Database (BEDB) to the DataPartitionGUID in the registry.
Export and save the registry key before altering the registry key value.
