Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.42",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
Cause
The above error will occur if the service "Windows Modules Installer" is disabled.
Resolution
1. Enable the "Windows Modules Installer" service
2. Ensure that the Windows Installer service is set to "Manual"
Note :
Issue found on Backup Exec is during remote agent installation.
Issue found on Netbackup is during client installation
Issue/Introduction
"Error 1935" is returned while installation for Windows Servers x64-bit on both Remote Agent Installation on Backup Exec and client installation on Netbackup.
