1. Verify if the VProTray.exe process is running in the Task Manager.If the process is not running, follow the below mentioned steps:
2. Open task manager > Add > New Task and run the tray icon found in the following locations:
For 64 bit systems: X:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas System Recovery\Agent\VProTray.exe
For 32 bit systems: X:\Program Files(x86)\Veritas\Veritas System Recovery\Agent\VProTray.exe
Note: X here refers to installation drive for VSR
3. If the VProTray.exe process is running in the Task Manager, kill the process and then follow Step 2.
Note that subsequently double-clicking on the VProTray.icon down in the taskbar will have the effect of opening the VSR Console.
