Following errors will be displayed in the job log :
0xe0001208 - The path for staging temporary data must be on a local, writeable NTFS volume on the media server. Check the job log for details.V-79-57344-4616 - The path (X:\TEMP) for staging temporary data must be on a local NTFS volume on the media server, and it must be writable. Click Tools, click Options, and then click Backup to change the path and then submit the job again.V-79-57344-4625 - The volume that is used for the staging location must be a writable NTFS volume that is local to the Backup Exec server.
Backup Exec requires the temporary staging location to be a local, NTFS volume on the Backup Exec server during backup jobs when targeted to a Backup to Disk.
This allows GRT (Granular Restore Technology) to create the granular restore selections of file system selections, mailbox messages and folders.
To correct this issue select a local, NTFS volume on the Backup Exec server and modify the location for the temporary staging location:
Click on the Backup Exec button > Configuration and Settings > Backup Exec settings | Granular Recovery Technology
It may also be necessary to re-create the backup job as the Global Settings only apply to newly created jobs (it will not change the options in previously defined jobs).
